At American Casting & Manufacturing, we know that a good education is important to shaping the future of the next generation. That’s why we want to support up and coming college students, helping ease the financial burdens they face in getting that education.

Twice a year, AC&M awards a $500 scholarship to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and writing skills. We are pleased to announce that the winner of our Spring 2022 scholarship is

Alexis is a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She will be graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and International Global Studies.

The essay that helped earn Alexis her award was titled “The Benefits of Manufactured Security Products and Tamper Evident Seals in Business.” She described in great detail the important role tamper evident seals play in our most integral industries, including air transportation, ground transportation and healthcare -- and how we should act diligently to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Congratulations again Alexis. We hope to see your hard work continue and lead to success in the rest of your college career and beyond.

About the Scholarship

The AC&M scholarship is open to full-time college juniors, seniors, or graduates of any major. The next scholarship will be awarded for Fall 2022 and has an entry deadline of July 1, 2022. To apply, see the application requirements here.
